We wrapped up our day of travel, stopping at a Halifax hotel on the waterfront. I realized there could be some good harbour pictures from the boardwalk running behind the hotel. I got out for a few minutes this evening and got a few pictures in the waning light of the evening.
As I arrived on the boardwalk, I witnessed a departing cruise ship. My timing was just right to get its picture before it disappeared from view.
The sun was setting and I was able to get this shot of the bridge further down the harbour.
I managed to locate some interesting looking dining establishments close to the hotel. They proved to be photo-worthy as well, their lights casting colourful reflections on the water.
Moving eastward down the boardwalk, I was able to get a good picture of Dartmouth across the harbour with a full moon casting its light from behind a light cloud cover.
I took this last shot of the bridge. By now the sun has set and it’s getting pretty dark. Enough for today!
Gee … I get home sick looking at these pics!
Lovely pictures, Peter–look like picture postcards!
