One of my favourite photos, the Three Sisters, Canmore’s iconic landmark. The photo was taken in the early morning from the north side of the Bow River. The still water enabled me to get the great reflection and the morning light cast a nice warm glow on the mountains and the trees. The Three Sisters are generally referred to as a group of three mountains. Their individual names are rarely used or even known for that matter. I’ve seen them called Faith, Hope and Charity and I have topographical maps that show them as the Big Sister, Middle Sister and the Little Sister (from right to left). There seems to be very little commitment to any individual names, so I’m thinking of proposing new names for these three peaks (Jinette, Anne and Rolande). I haven’t yet decided which peak should get which name. Anyway, here’s the picture…
That is absolutely gorgeous Peter. Is there any way that I can print any of your photos from my computer?
