Today’s picture was taken last week at the Cave Creek Regional Park. I wouldn’t normally take a picture of the sun with it this high in the sky. In this case, for a brief time, it was behind a cloud that blocked direct light reaching the lens. Although the reflected light is quite bright, I was able to avoid a washout of the pixels in those areas.
I used a plug-in to Lightroom, Topaz Restyle, to finish the post-processing.
